Varanasi has hundreds of saree shops, and most of them are resellers — they buy finished sarees from a middleman and can't tell you much about how the piece in your hands was actually made. Priyuja Banaras is different. We are a Banarasi saree manufacturer, and the sarees on our shelves come straight off our own looms in the city. That means we can show you the weave up close, tell you exactly which silk and zari went into it, and give you a fair, loom-direct price.

Our shop is on Luxa Road in Ramapura, opposite PDR Mall — minutes from Godowlia, Chowk and Dashashwamedh Ghat, in the same part of the city where Banarasi sarees have been woven for generations. We're about 15 minutes from Varanasi Junction (Cantt) railway station and around 45 minutes from Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, so it's easy to fit a visit into a day of sightseeing or a buying trip. Walk in Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm.

At our store on the 1st floor, D 47/195, Luxa Road, opposite PDR Mall, Ramapura. Because we manufacture the sarees ourselves, every piece is a genuine Banarasi weave — not a powerloom copy sold as handloom.
Look for the Silk Mark tag on pure-silk pieces, check that the zari warms rather than glares, and turn the saree over — on genuine kadhwa weaving the motif threads are cut by hand and the back stays clean. We're happy to show you all of this in person before you buy.
